Zero Gravity caters specifically to the teen and young adult crowd, limiting admission to those age 16 to 23, with proper identification required to enter. No alcoholic drinks are served on the premises at all and security is strictly enforced, making it a safe atmosphere for teens. There is a dress code as well, encouraging guests to "dress to impress", meaning no sports wear or sweats are allowed. Zero Gravity is open every Saturday from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. and has played host to such big name acts as Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Pink. Multiple video cameras and 36" TVs positioned throughout the club ensure that not a moment is missed.
Located just five miles west of Chicago, Energy Night Club boasts a concert quality sound system paired with sophisticated video and lighting arrangements designed to showcase their top DJ billing. Opening only on Thursday nights with occasional special events hosted on Fridays, the club welcomes teens age 17 and over with proper identification. Alcohol is available for the over 21 crowd in a designated area separate from underage guests. The club enforces a strict zero tolerance policy and those visiting can expect to be searched before entering.
Situated just north of Wrigley Field and open for over 25 years, Metro is one of Chicago's most respected rock clubs, featuring performances by a broad range of local and emerging bands, including names like REM and Nirvana. Metro's all-ages shows begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and end promptly at 10. Shows beginning after 9 p.m. are open to guests age 18 and over. Two forms of federal or state ID must be shown to gain entry to Metro. Tickets to shows can be purchased either on-line or through the Metro box office, which charges no service fee.
