Stand facing the front of the room or mirror. Step your right foot out to the side, then step your left foot out and behind the right, switching your weight to the left foot (dance step, step-ball-change). Step out again with your right foot and step the left foot out and behind the right, but do not put your weight on your left foot--simply tap the toe to the ground.
Step your left foot out to the side, then step your right foot out and behind the left, switching your weight to the right foot. Step out again with your left foot and step the right foot out and behind the left; again, do not put your weight to your right foot, simply tap the toe to the ground.
Repeat the steps to the right again (step one) and instead of stepping out to the left as you did in step two, scuff then tap the ball of the left foot to the front, standing in place. Scuff and tap the ball of the right foot to the front, still standing in place.
Tap the toe of the right foot, then the left, then the right then the left again to the front. Add a little bounce to the step by bending your knees and swaying your hips from side to side as you tap your feet.
Step your right foot to the front, then step the left foot to meet it. Step forward again with the right foot then bring the left forward to meet it, but only tapping the toe to the ground--do not put your weight on the left foot, as you will need to step onto it for the next step.
Step your left foot to the front and pivot on it so you are facing the back. Take a step forward with the left foot and then cross the right foot over and across the left, shifting your weight to the right foot.
Step back with the left foot, then step the right foot back beside it, turning slightly to the right wall. Rock your weight to the right foot, lifting the left foot slightly off the floor, then rock your weight back to the left as you place it back on the ground.
Face the right wall and lead with the left foot in a step-together-step touch sequence. Repeat the sequence leading with the right foot. Step out with the left foot, rocking your weight onto the left dramatically with a bend in the left knee, then step back to the right. Step-ball-change your left foot behind you to face the left wall.
Step out with the right foot, rocking your weight onto the right dramatically with a bend in the left knee, then step back to the left. Step-ball-change your right foot behind you to face the back wall.
Tap the left foot out to the side then to the front, putting your weight on the left to pivot to face the right wall. Step-ball-change to the left, then to the right, which brings you back to the first step. Repeat all the steps, now using the right wall as the front.
