Face front and take four steps forward with the beat of the song. Get ready to pick up the pace in your step by marching for eight steps.
Touch your right ear to your right shoulder (as if you were holding a phone) on the first step and again on the fifth and seventh steps of your march.
Turn your body to the left with your right side facing front and both arms extended out to your sides about shoulder height. You'll be taking four steps towards the front of the room with your right leg, first, while your body is still sideways facing to the left. On the second step only, you'll turn your head to the left and do a quick head nod and face front again on the third step.
Thrust your pelvis and shake your shoulders as you step forward and snap your fingers throughout this move.
Take two steps while you're body is still sideways starting with your right leg towards the front. At the same time, you will tilt your head back with each step and "claw" outward (arms up, elbows bent, and fingers spread apart and bent as if you had claws) with each step.
Twist your body facing right and take two more side-steps with your left leg facing out towards the front - tilt your head back with each step and "claw" out with each step.
Spread your legs about shoulder-width apart as you quickly face to the right and do a quick shuffle step, as if your left leg were kicking the right leg outward and lean back while tilt your head back slightly.
Lean forward and at the same time, take two “scurry” steps (like mini bunny hops) to the right, and face down and end with the right knee slightly bent.
Twist your body and face left with your left knee slightly bent. Quickly turn your head to face the front of the room and extend your right arm as if you were reaching for something behind you, about shoulder height.
Lunge your body downward while bending both knees slightly, thrusting your pelvis outward, and face forward still. Do this three times with the beat for three counts.
Throw your arms up as if you were doing a jumping jack, bring your feet together and clap once above your head while still facing front and drop to a lunge with your legs apart, right knee bent while your left leg is straight and hands on your thighs. As you drop to the lunge position, you will slide to the left while doing a shimmy with your head/neck from side to side and end in a standing position.
Stomp your foot and shrug your shoulders once, turn your head and look to the left and back to the front quickly.
Clap above your head again and repeat the lung and slide step to the right side. Don't forget to do the shimmy side-to-side with your neck/head.
Stomp the ground with your left foot, shrug your shoulders once and turn and look quickly to the left and back to the center facing front.
Shake your shoulders while skipping forward for two steps and then a shuffle or skip step. So as you step it'll be: right, left, right-left-right (shuffle/skip), left, right, left-right-left (shuffle/skip).
Stop and take a quick step back then turn to the right doing the “claw” pose (to the right) bending both knees as if you are standing on your toes with your body still facing right. "Claw" to the left and bend your right leg to tap your right foot to the back of your left knee. Extend the right leg back out and bend your knees, shaking your hips to the beat while you’re going towards the right.
Tap your left foot to the ground close to your right foot/leg, lean to the right, extend your right arm outward while snapping your fingers once as you extend your left leg out to kick at the same time.
Shimmy to the left and turn your body facing right with attitude and bite your lip. Bring arms up in the “claw” pose and take two steps to the right. Stop then claw to the left--claw to the right--claw to the left and at the same time take two steps towards the left. Stop again then claw to the right, claw to the left and jump up once.
Throw both of your arms around and above your head. Bend forward and shake (as if you were drying your hair) bobbing up and down twice.
Bend your knees while slightly leaning to the right and move your upper body and hips to the left and right in a groovy motion for four counts. Then flip around clockwise, slightly leaning to the right, again, and do the "groovy rocking" motion for four more counts.
Do a 180-degree turn back to facing the front as you reach up with your right arm. Extend your right leg out at the same time then pull down with your arm and rotate your hips counter-clockwise into the air guitar position.
Lean towards the right doing a shimmy with your body like a zombie and pretending to "squash a bug" with your left foot, as you face front for four counts. Extend your right arm above your head while waving your arm and snapping your fingers and shimmy for four more counts.
Turn to the right, quickly. Extend both arms out and pull arms into your chest. Turn your body quickly, now facing the left and extend and pull first your right and then your left arm into your chest. Drop to a lunge with both hands on your thighs, facing front, and bending your left knee while slightly pointing your left toe.
Plant your right leg firmly to the center, facing front. Jerk your left shoulder while tapping your leg to the ground as you rotate clockwise for six steps until you face the opposite direction (now facing the back). Stop and look behind you, turning your head towards the left.
Step forward with your right leg first, taking ten wide steps forward while bending your knees and hands on your thighs.
