Instructions for the Electric Slide

The Electric Slide was a popular dance during the disco days of the 1970s. It was choreographed in 1976 for the grand reopening of a club in New York City called Vamps Disco. The Electric Slide is a "line dance," in which people stand next to each other or behind each other in a line formation. The dance has easy and advanced movements, and is usually done to the song "Electric Boogie" by Marcia Griffiths.
