VINE: Left foot steps left, then right foot steps behind left foot, then your left foot steps to the left again.
PIVOT: On count one, place foot forward with weight on toes. On count two, turn on the ball of the other foot. This will result in a 90-degree turn in the opposite direction of the foot which was placed forward.
SCUFF: With weight on one foot, the other foot swings forward with the heel touching the ground.
TOUCH: Place weight one one foot, while the other foot lightly touches the ground. The touching foot is usually the one to perform the next step.
BRUSH: Like a scuff, place weight on one foot as the other foot swings, touching the ground with the ball of the foot. This can be done in any direction.
HOOK: Weight on one leg, lift the knee of other leg up so that the foot is just below the knee. Point your toes while doing this.
HITCH:Weight on one leg, lift the other knee so that the thigh is parallel to the ground.
STOMP UP: Weight on one foot, the other is placed hard on the ground with your weight remaining on the original foot.
STOMP DOWN: Same as above, but the weight changes to the foot that stomped.
HEEL TOE STRUT: Weight on one leg, the heel of other foot is placed down on count one. Drop your toe on step two.
TOE HEEL STRUT: Same as above except the toe is down on count one and heel on step two.
HEEL SPLITS: Feet together, heels are separated and then brought back together.
