Stand with feet together and in a relaxed position. Being too stiff can make the dance difficult and throw off balance.
Move right foot forward and tap the heel to the ground. Step the foot back to the left foot.
Move the left toe behind the right foot and tap the toes. Step back to the right foot. Alternate to the right foot, taping the toe behind the left foot.
Grapevine to the right. Without putting the right foot down beside the left, step the foot out to the side, then step the left behind the right foot before stepping the right foot and turning 90 degrees to the right.
Lifting the left leg, hop twice toward the left.
Set the left foot down and grapevine toward the left. Step the left foot toward the left, cross the right foot behind the left and then step the left foot out.
Lift the right foot up and slap the heel with the left hand.
Put the right foot back down and grapevine to the left. Step the right foot toward the right, cross the left behind and step the right out again. Lift the left foot and slap the heel with the right hand.
Take three steps backward, starting with the left foot.
Hop on the left foot, throwing the right foot up slightly, then step the right foot down and stomp the left together with the right.
Repeat the steps through the song.
