Learn the Christian romance market by reading widely in the genre, especially in books put out by White Rose Publishing. Note which themes work and which do not. Read guidelines put out by a number of Christian romance publishing houses, and pay special attention to what they say NOT to do.
Print out the White Rose Publishing writer's guidelines, linked in the References area. Read them carefully, then post them above your desk. Make a point of reading them every day before writing anything. Check the website at least monthly for any updates.
Plot out and write a story according to the White Rose Publishing guidelines. Focus especially on capturing the spiritual struggle within the characters and incorporating it into the romantic plotline.
Edit your story, focusing on eliminating wordiness and honing your spiritual and romantic themes to enhance clarity. Ask for reader commentary from friends or writers' group members, then revise again.
Format your story according to White Rose guidelines. At minimum, this includes ensuring your manuscript is double-spaced, printed using a serif font like Times New Roman in a readable size, has one-inch margins, and your name, the manuscript title and the page number in the header of every page. Save the manuscript as a single .doc or .rtf file.
Write a synopsis of your manuscript of no more than 750 words, shorter for shorter works. Write a blurb (a short description that might appear on the back of a book) of no more than 150 words. Write a tagline or pitch statement of no more than 15 words.
Open the White Rose Publishing Submission Form web page. Create your submission email exactly as specified by White Rose Publishing, answering each question in their submission form questionnaire to the best of your ability. Insert your synopsis, blurb and tagline in the appropriate spots. Email this form without attachments to the address specified in the Submission Form page.
