Use a computer and graphic design program to digitally draw up artwork. Sketch, paint, import, resize, crop and edit unique or found images to create pasteup artwork. Add text as desired.
To print off giant pasteups, email or upload standard-size designs to a local copy and print store, and have them magnify and print the image at desired size.
Use scissors to cut out images as desired. Roll large cutouts for easy transport and application.
Remove the lid from the bucket. Pour wheat flour into the bucket, filling the bottom one-third. Slowly add water, stirring the two ingrediants together as you go. Mixture should be thick enough to seal the design to your surface, without appearing chunky.
Replace the lid on the bucket now filled with the wheatpaste mixture. Transport as needed to design location.
Remove lid from bucket and dip roller brush into the wheatpaste. Roll the glue mixture over design area. Apply the pasteup design over the glued area.
Smooth the pasteup to remove air bubbles and seal off edges.
