Turn on your printer once you are ready to print the images you want on the T-shirt. Print the image you have selected in full color, or black and white, depending on your preference. Use the best quality settings to print. This will show all the details, such as the individual teeth of the Tyrannosaurus.
Check the printout for incorrect colors or other issues. What you see on the printout will be exactly what will end up on the shirt. You can compare the colors of the Archaeopteryx on your computer with the printed version, for example.
Follow the exact instructions that came with the transfer paper. Let the iron heat up to the prescribed temperature; it is important for the iron to be hot enough for the transfer to work. You want to transfer the entire dinosaur, and not forget the tail in the corner, or half a wing.
Lay the shirt on the ironing board and position the transfer paper on the shirt. Begin to iron the transfer onto the fabric, making sure that it does not fold. Push gently on the paper with the iron until all the areas of the image have received enough heat.
Peel off the backing from the transfer paper. Peel slowly from the corners to prevent any tearing. Let the T-shirt cool to cure the colors. Check the colors, and that the image of the dinosaur have transferred completely. If not, start from the beginning with a new shirt.
Wash the shirt as per instructions given for the transfer paper to permanently set the colors on the fabric. Repeat the same process to add another image to the back of the shirt.
