Plug the main power cord into a wall socket and set the tattoo power supply on a stable, clean surface. Make sure there is ample room on all sides of the machine for ventilation, and do not set anything on top of the power supply.
Attach the clip cord ends to the tattoo machine, then attach the end of the clip cord to the tattoo power supply. There will be a clearly marked socket on the machine for your clip cord.
Connect the foot pedal to the tattoo power supply. This will allow you to control the current and the movement of the needle.
Test the machine. Holding the tattoo needle away from any people or surfaces, press down on the foot pedal to power the tattoo machine. The needle should move smoothly and without interruption. It is now ready for adjustment.
