This annual art fair is held on 5th Avenue, in the downtown area of Naples Florida. Artists from around the country travel here to participate, exhibit their work and have it critiqued. The artists also have the opportunity to answer questions about their work, technique and artistic motivation. Visitors can also commission artwork from artists as well.
Since 1979, this art festival has been held during the first week of March at The Collection at Vanderbilt. The Collection at Vanderbilt is an upscale retail shopping area that is filled with boutiques and fine dining restaurants. Some of the country's finest artists are presented at this show. The Napes Masters Art Festival also donates its proceeds to local community organizations.
During the end of March, over 250 artists exhibit their jewelry, art, photography and ceramics at this show. All of the presenting artists are critiqued during the two-day show and there are opportunities to purchase their work as well. The festival is held every year on 5th Avenue of downtown Naples and presented by the Naples Art Association.
This show is hosted by the Naples Art Association the first Saturday of every month from April through December. This is one of Naples oldest art shows, which was started in 1957. It is a critiqued art show, held outdoors, where arts can purchase space for a booth to present their work. To participate in the Art in the Park show, you must be a member of the Naples Art Association, present your work in front of a panel to be critiqued and also abide by the show rules and requirements.
