The Ocean Pines Camera Club is a photography club that's been in existence since 2004. Its members dabble in both film and digital photography. In 2007, the Ocean Pines Camera Club put on a photography-only art show in conjunction with the Art League of Ocean City. This show was a large success, and it continues to take place every year.
The community of Ocean Pines rallies together each year in an effort to help support the arts by holding the Ocean Pines Arts and Crafts Fair. This annual event takes place in the local park each summer, usually on the first weekend of August. Typically lasting for about six hours on a summer Saturday, it features a variety of local artists, including painters, sculptors and crafters.
The North American Craft Show takes place in Ocean City, another coastal Maryland community that's just a 20-minute drive from Ocean Pines. This large show happens each January at the Ocean City Convention Center, and features a variety of different artists. Crafters often specialize in unique decor and specialty pieces that can't be found elsewhere. This event, given its size, typically lasts all day on both Saturday and Sunday.
Another art show in Ocean City is the Easter Art and Craft Fair, held each spring at the Ocean City Convention Center. Items on display at this craft show are typically handcrafted, and often include wearable art and jewelry, as well as some summer items such as lawn decor. A wide variety of art is represented, along with fun pieces like caricatures. This event takes place on a Friday and Saturday.
