Make a replica of the famed Roman sculpture depicting the infant twins suckling a she-wolf. Use the medium of your choice or a combination of several. Your sculpture does not have to be an exact copy, but it should show the Romulus, Remus and the wolf.
Recreate the constellation of Romulus and Remus, also called Gemini (the twins), on the ceiling or wall with a star chart. Print out a star chart showing the constellation. Prick holes in the constellation where the stars are. Turn out the lights and shine a flashlight from the back of the chart. Paint on the wall where the light shines through the holes marking the location of the stars.
Use the story of Romulus and Remus to create a large mural. Paint or draw several images of Romulus and Remus to outline their story. Include images of their abandonment at birth by their parents in a basket in the Tiber River, the she-wolf finding the basket containing the babies and Romulus killing his brother after they quarreled over the location to found Rome.
Cut out or rip tiny pieces of tile or colored paper and glue them onto a surface to create a mosaic showing Romulus and Remus. This mosaic resembles the tile mosaics seen in Roman historical sites. Sketch out the image you want to make into a mosaic before gluing the pieces of paper or tile down. This sketch will serve as a guide for laying out the mosaic pieces.
