Cover a glass or porcelain vase with a thin layer of white glue. Before the glue dries completely, attach beads, pebbles, stones, shells, glitter and other small objects to the vase. A decorative pattern can be created with these objects. Allow the vase to dry completely before use.
A vase can be decorated with flowers made from a child's fingerprints. Pressing a paint-coated finger onto a clean vase can create the center of the flower and multiple petals. Use a different color for each flower.
Create a stained glass look on your vase by using tissue paper. Fill a bowl with a mixture of half white glue and half water. Tear multiple pieces of differently-colored tissues into small pieces and dip them into the glue mixture. Press them onto the vase. Allow the vase to dry completely before use.
