Consider the many forms a cloud can take on and how it is unbound. Love can be bounded only by strong will, while most of the time it is fully out of our control. Love also has the power to be infinite in many forms or relationships and grow in any direction it pleases. Reflect on the different kinds of love you have in your life -- the love you have for your family, friends, romantic partner, beliefs and passions. The love you have for each is infinite and different.
Note the many shapes we ourselves can create out of the clouds as we gaze up searching for objects. Clouds are adaptable to our imagination, as are our ideas of love and the way love should be. We are able to invent fantasies of love in our minds even if we don't have a tangible relationship or affair, just as we create objects out of condensed water vapors.
Relate the clouds' vulnerability to weather condition changes to love's vulnerability to uncontrollable circumstances such as a partner cheating, tragedy or a grand gesture. Clouds can be light and fluffy one minute and then the wind picks up and they become dark and heavy or vice versa, just as love can transform in given situations.
Observe the makeup of a cloud and its states associated with different weather and imagine the feelings associated with love. Fog can be associated with a confusing state of love, storm or heavy clouds with a romance that is falling apart, and light and fluffy clouds with blissful adoration. Even the variations of moody skies and reflecting colors can be associated with the ups and downs of love.
