Measure the width and length of the artwork. You will need to keep the size in mind when mounting the wire to the wall. Determine the desired height and width of the hooks and wire. Use a level to be sure that the screws will not be crooked. Make small pencil marks on the wall to indicate placement.
Drill small holes over the marks you have made. Screw eyelet hooks into these holes. Feed wire through one of the hooks and pull it through, until there is about two inches of wire sticking out. wrap this excess wire around the hook and other section of wire. Pull the long wire section taunt in the direction of the second hook. Cut any excess wire, leaving enough to feed through the hook and wrap around for support.
Clip gallery clips to the wire. Be sure to space them evenly across the wire. the number of clips you use will depend on the size of the piece being hung. Roll the artwork into a loose tube shape, if possible. This will help avoid folding or tearing while being hung. Begin by clipping the corner that is on the outside of the roll. Slowly work your way down until it is in place. Clips can be readjusted if it seems unevenly spaced.
