Held each June in Library Square in Salt Lake City, the four-day Utah Arts Fest is one of the state's largest festivals, with more than 200 visual and performing artists participating annually. Artists are selected by jury, and genres include painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry and woodworking. Additional festival activities include a 5K run and children's activities. Admission in 2010 was $10 per day for adults, with discounts available for return visits and four-day passes.

The Kimball Arts Festival , hosted by the Kimball Art Center, is an annual three-day event in August in historic downtown Park City. More than 200 juried artists are featured in 12 categories, including painting, photography, ceramics, printmaking and sculpture. The festival features indoor and outdoor live music, film screenings, kids' activities and panel discussions. Admission in 2010 was $10 for adults on Saturday and Sunday, and by donation on Friday night.

The RedStone Art Fair, sponsored by national organizers Howard Alan Events & American Craft Endeavors, sets up in Park City in August. The weekend art fair is held in the Redstone area of Park City and features 150 juried artists displaying sculpture, painting, ceramics and photography. Admission is free for the event.

The St. George Art Festival is held in April in the historic town square of St. George, located in the southwest corner of the state. More than 100 juried artists displaying works in sculpture, painting, woodwork and pottery are featured. Live entertainment and kids' activities are provided throughout the weekend event. This art show is hosted by the city's Leisure Services Department, and is free and open to the public.
