Instructions

    • 1

Choose several colors of felt sheets with your child. If you are making breakfast foods, use white and yellow for the eggs, yellow and brown for pancakes and orange for orange pieces.

    • 2

Cut out the various shapes needed for making the foods. Cut round shapes to make the egg yolk and pancakes and asymmetrical shapes to make the egg whites and syrup. Cut smaller yellow rectangular shapes to make the butter pieces and wedge shaped orange pieces to make the fruit.

    • 3

Glue the egg yolk pieces onto the egg white. Use the marker to make tiny pepper sprinkles on the egg. Glue the pancakes together into a stack of three to four pancakes. Glue the brown syrup on top of the pancake stack and glue two small rectangular butter pieces on top of the felt syrup.

    • 4

Draw the peel and fruit texture lines onto the orange pieces. Arrange the play breakfast food on a plastic plate for your child to play with.
