Dip a cotton swab in Spirit Gum Remover or rubbing alcohol. Dab the swab on the Spirit Gum. If a prosthetic is still attached to your skin, rub the swab as close to the edge (where the skin and prosthetic meet) as you can.
Continue swabbing with the remover or alcohol. Switch out the dirty swabs with clean swabs, as needed. If part of the prosthetic is still attached to your skin, lift the edge of the prosthetic while dabbing beneath it with a cotton swab.
Apply Spirit Gum remover to a cotton ball. Wipe all of the remaining Spirit Gum off of your skin. Usually, you will not need to apply a lot of the remover (it is rather concentrated).
Dampen a clean cloth in warm water and a gentle soap. Gently cleanse the leftover traces of remover from your skin.
Dry the now-clean area of skin. Use a moisturizer, as necessary (especially if you used rubbing alcohol).
