How to Do a Chola Eyebrow

Chola eyebrows will give you the sassy spunk you need for any night on the town. The term "Chola" is inspired by twentieth century Latina street culture, according to California State University, Northridge. Chola makeup is often bold and heavy; and can transform your look. The trick to incorporating a Chola eyebrow is to conceal your real brow before drawing on a new one.

Instructions

    • 1

Clean your face with mild face soap and pat dry with a towel. Stand in front of a well-lit mirror.

    • 2

Rub downward over the surface of your left eyebrow with a standard glue stick. Pick away any visible chunks or globs of glue. Continue this step for your right eyebrow.

    • 3

Dab a makeup sponge into your concealer. Choose a concealer that matches your skin tone. Rub the sponge over your brow until your eyebrow "disappears." Repeat this step for your right eyebrow.

    • 4

Coat the concealing cream with powder to hold the makeup in place and prevent smearing. Repeat this step for your right eyebrow.

    • 5

Draw a thin upward diagonal line with an eyeliner pencil, beginning just above your real, concealed brow. Start at the inner edge of your eyebrow and draw upwards to the point where your real brow arcs. Curve the pencil line downward, stopping at the outer edge of the concealed brow. Darken and thicken the initial trace line with the eyeliner pencil once the initial trace line is complete. Continue this step for your right eye.
