Where did the middle class sit at Globe theatre?

There was no middle class seating at the Globe Theatre. The seating was divided into three tiers:

- The first tier, called the Boxes or Lords' rooms, was located at the back of the stage and was reserved for the wealthiest patrons.

- The second tier, called the Tiring House or Gentlemen's rooms, was located in the middle of the theatre and was open to wealthier citizens.

- The third tier, called the Galleries or Shilling seats and Two Penny seats, was located at the front of the theatre and was open to the general public.
