For more than 30 years, the Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre has been host to live original entertainment for visitors. While the show content changes occasionally, the laughter never stops. This comedy troupe specializes in slapstick, magic and songs in an annual series of original comedies made specifically for the theatre's stage.
The Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is the only musical comedy entertainment venue in Gatlinburg and is a good break from the country music themed shows that are numerous in the area. The theatre opened in 1977 and has since been named a National Historical Treasure. More than 30 musical comedies have had their premiere performance at the Sweet Fanny Adams. The theatre is easy to find, located right next to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Parkway.

According to legend, the Grimsby & Streaper Casket Company had been in operation since 1891, until the two men the company was named for mysteriously disappeared and several strange occurrences happened within the town. When Ripley’s purchased the building, they began giving frightening tours of the old facility.
The Haunted Adventure at Ripley’s Believe it or Not in Gatlinburg is a scary break from the norm in a city that is otherwise very cheerful and easy going. The show takes place within the supposed casket company were visitors take a self-guided walking tour and watch as live entertainers perform and unnerve passersby in true haunted house fashion. What guests see inside can be quite disturbing and gory. The show may not be suitable for children or those with heart problems.

Cirque de Chine is a Chinese acrobatic circus show that takes place throughout the year in the Smoky Mountain Palace just outside of Gatlinburg in Sevierville. This fast paced, breathtaking show features Chinese acrobats performing unbelievable stunts in a highly choreographed routine.
Guests will see acrobats diving through moving hoops, spring boarding off a seesaw and performing other daring feats. The Chinese expressionist art of mask changing also occurs during the show; theater masks change from one expression to another instantly, without being touched. The audience is unable to explain how the transition happens.
