How did the Globe theatre get destroyed?

The Globe theatre was destroyed by a fire on June 29, 1613. The fire was caused by a cannon that was being used during a performance of Henry VIII. The cannon was fired into the thatched roof of the theatre, which caught fire and quickly spread. The entire theatre was destroyed, including all of the costumes, props, and scenery.
