How does benvolio say the fighting began in romeo and Juliet?

Tybalt, Mercutio, and others entered the square when Benvolio and his friends were walking. As they approached, Tybalt called Romeo a vile person, which enraged Mercutio. Mercutio drew his sword, and Tybalt did the same. Benvolio realized a fight was about to break out and tried to stop it by grabbing Tybalt's sword. Unfortunately, he was too slow. Mercutio clashed with Tybalt, and the two of them began to fight. When Romeo tried to intervene, Tybalt stabbed Mercutio under Romeo's arm, killing him.
