Although satire is usually meant to be humorous, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon. E.g. * Black humor: A type of humor that deals with dark and taboo subjects, often in a humorous or satirical way. E.g. "*I told my wife she was drawing her eyebrows too high. She looked surprised.*"
