How does prophecies come true?

Prophecies are predictions about the future, and there is no definitive answer to how they come true. Some people believe that prophecies are self-fulfilling, meaning that if people act in accordance with the prophecy, it is more likely to happen. Others believe that prophecies are the result of divine intervention, and that certain events are predestined to occur. Some prophecies may also be coincidences or lucky guesses.

For example, take the case of the ancient prophecy that said Rome would eventually be destroyed by fire. Some historians believe that this prophecy played a role in the city's decline, as people began to lose faith in their leaders and institutions. They may have seen the prophecy as a sign that Rome was doomed, and as a result, they became more inclined to rebel against the government or become complacent about the city's fate. On the other hand, the prophecy could also have simply been a coincidence, or a lucky guess by the person who made it.
