Check your disk burner. If you have a DVD burner then you will have no problem burning CD+G discs. If you have an older CD burner, check with the manufacturer to see if it can burn CD+G. Some CD burners can, while others cannot. It depends on how old the CD burner is. The CD+G stands for CD plus graphics. The graphics are the lyrics and any background images.
Purchase the songs to go on your disc. Two websites to where you can find a variety of karaoke music is iTunes and Karaoke Version. These downloads will include the instrumentals, lyrics and graphics.
Buy karaoke burning software. The most widely used is Power CD+G Burner. To use this program click "Burn" and then "Add" to add all the songs you want on your karaoke disc. You can also use the "Move Up" and "Move Down" buttons to change the order of the songs. Place the CD+G into your disc drive and click "Burn." First the software will perform an image file creation and then it will burn. Power CD + G Burner will let you know when the burn is completed.
