When did Lady Gaga start singing?

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known professionally as Lady Gaga, started singing at a very young age.

She began taking piano lessons at the age of 4, and by the time she was 13, she was already writing her own songs. At 14, she started performing at open mics in her hometown of New York City.

After graduating high school, she moved to New York City to pursue her music career full-time. In 2006, she signed a record deal with Streamline Records, an imprint of Interscope Records.

Her debut album, The Fame, was released on August 19, 2008, and it was a commercial success. It spawned the hit singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face", which reached the top of the charts in many countries around the world.

Since then, Lady Gaga has released several successful albums and has become one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
