How Can I Record With a Roland Vs-1824 CD?

The VS-1824 CD is a digital multitrack home recorder manufactured by Roland. It is equipped with features such as multi-effects processing, up to 18 playback tracks and CD burning, but the VS-1824 does not come out of the box with a ready-to-record setup. Though its menus allow for flexibility in mixing and routing, they can bog you down a bit when you first encounter the unit.
