How to Convert Sonar to Cubase

Cakewalk Sonar and Cubase are two commonly used music recording applications. Users cannot directly convert a Sonar project within the Cubase platform or vice versa. To work around this, music producers save music projects in an .OMF file format, which saves all audio files and effect settings within a project. Almost all music recording programs can open .OMF, so the format acts as a kind of universal format. You can convert your Sonar project by saving the project as an .OMF file and then importing the .OMF into Cubase.
