How to Connect Sonar to Project Mix

Digital audio workstation (DAW) software has revolutionized the scope and professionalism possible in home studio situations. SONAR by Cakewalk has found favor as a package that combines musical instrument digital interface (MIDI) sequencing with digital audio in a format that many people find intuitive in the admittedly steep learning curve world of digital audio. Adding a work surface controller providing faders and input and output options raises the performance bar of a DAW and M-Audio's Project Mix I/O is designed to support SONAR, as well as a variety of other software including Pro Tools.
