How to Export Files From Korg D32XD

The Korg D32XD digital workstation allows you to mix and master up to 32 audio tracks per project, and it features a hard drive for saving your work. To listen to your D32XD's projects outside of the workstation, you'll need to export your songs into a standard audio file. And with the help of the D32XD's "Export" feature, you can export your tracks into the universal WAV (Waveform) audio format.

Instructions

    • 1

Power on your Korg D32XD. Flip the D32XD's power switch to the "On" position.

    • 2

Press the D32XD's "Song" button. Tap the onscreen "SelectSong" tab. Tap the song you'd like to export and then tap the "Select" button.

    • 3

Tap on the "EditTrk" tab. Use the onscreen "Rewind" button to cue your track to its beginning point -- press the physical "Store" button and then press the "LOC1/IN" button.

    • 4

Use the "Forward" button to cue the track's ending point. Press the "Store" button and then press "LOC4/END."

    • 5

Tap on the cell beneath the "EditTrk" heading. Select the "CopyTrk" option from the cell.

    • 6

Tap on the "Source" cell. Select "1" to copy the master track. Tap on the "Destination" tab and then select "Clip." Set the destination's start and end points, just like you did with the source. Tap "Exec" and then tap "Yes."

    • 7

Tap on the "Export" tab. Tap on the "Drive" button inside of the Export tab and then tap on the "PC" option in the Drive menu. Tap "Exec," and then tap "Yes" to confirm your decision to export the file.

    • 8

Connect your D32XD to your computer via the workstation's USB cable. Click on the "Open folder to view files" option when the "AutoPlay" menu appears on your computer.

    • 9

Open the "Korg" folder, and then open the "WAV" folder to access your exported WAV file.
