How to Delete Vocals From a Song With Pro Tools

Click on the name of the vocal track you want to delete inside of Pro Tools.

Click the “Track” button at the top of your computer screen and select “Make Inactive.” This will gray out the track, making it no longer audible.

Highlight this vocal track, click the “Track” button and choose “Make Active” to make the track audible again.
