Download the noise removal kit for Sound Forge, and import it into the "Effects" folder in Ableton Live.
Open the song file in Ableton Live in two tracks, 1 and 2 or left and right.
Open the "Noise Reduction" filter, and set the vocal as the "noise" to reduce.
Drag the "Noise Reduction" filter into the number 1 or left audio track. Set the plug-in to start just before the vocal line appears, The plug-in captures the noise print print you have defined.
Play the audio channel, and preview the effect by switching it on and off.
Locate the Utilities folder in the Ableton Live menu section to the left of the page.
Click to open the "Utilities" folder, then click and drag the Difference folder into track 1 of your loaded audio track.
Play track 1 of the audio track, and preview the effect by clicking it on and off repeatedly.
Adjust the frequency response using graphic equalization to boost any frequencies whose volume is too low due to the Difference effect.
Click to open the "Audio Effects" folder in the Ableton Live menu section to the left of the page.
Open the "EQ Eight" folder in the Audio Effects folder, then click open the "Filters" folder, and drag the "Center Effects" folder into track 2, or the right track, of your loaded audio track.
Play track 2 of the audio track, and preview the Center Kill effect by clicking it on and off repeatedly. The Center Kill effect will virtually eliminate anything that is centered in the mix.
Adjust the frequency response using graphic equalization to boost any frequencies whose volume is too low due to the Center Kill effect.
