How do you put a radio in 1990 Chevy Silverado?

To install a radio in a 1990 Chevy Silverado, follow these steps:

Gather your tools and materials. You will need:

- A new radio

- A wiring harness adapter

- A screwdriver

- A wire cutter/stripper

- Electrical tape

Disconnect the battery. This will help to prevent any electrical accidents.

Remove the old radio. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the radio in place. Then, pull the radio out of the dash.

Disconnect the wiring harness from the old radio. There will be two or three plugs that need to be disconnected.

Connect the wiring harness adapter to the new radio. There should be a diagram included with the adapter that will show you how to do this.

Connect the wiring harness adapter to the wiring harness in the dash. Plug the plugs from the adapter into the plugs in the dash.

Test the new radio. Turn on the power and make sure that the radio works.

Secure the new radio in place. Use the screws that you removed earlier to secure the new radio in place.

Reconnect the battery.
