If you burned one song onto a CD and took it out but your computer let put on any more songs what do do?

If your computer lets you put on any more songs, it does not mean the CD is full. Audio CDs can hold anywhere from 74 to 80 minutes of audio, depending on the speed of the CD. It is possible that the first song you burned took up less space than the maximum, and you have additional space to fill.

To burn more songs onto the same CD, follow these steps:

- Close the CD-burning software.

- Right-click on the CD drive in File Explorer and select "Eject."

- Take out the CD and put it back into the drive.

- Open the CD-burning software again.

- Select the songs you want to burn and add them to the compilation.

- Click on the "Burn" button to burn the songs to the CD.

If you continue experiencing issues with your computer not recognizing that there is already a song burned onto the CD, verify that the CD-R software you are utilizing supports multi-session CD-burning. This allows you to add additional files later even if you have written to the CD in the past.
