How did the band wicked lester get their name?

There is no evidence to suggest the band Wicked Lester actually existed. If you are referring to the band Kiss (which some think is the same band) its name came about when the band's original lead singer, Gene Simmons, was in a restaurant and saw a woman wearing perfume named "Kiss". Paul Stanley, the future rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist of Kiss, would also later recall when discussing names of the band:

"Wicked Lester was suggested at the time for the name of the band but when we saw "Kiss", it seemed obvious. That single word said everything. You could see a poster. You could smell the music before you even heard it."
