What are the chemical compositions of tuba-tuba?

Tuba-tuba has several bioactive secondary metabolites, such as flavonols, flavonoids, isoflavonoids, tannins, quinones, and phenolic acids (Cortes et al. 2020). The phytochemical contents include the flavanols afzelechin, catechin, epicatechin, and taxifolin (de Padua et al.2017). Among those identified secondary compounds, the phenolic components play a big role in its antioxidant activities.
