Gothic Clubs in Atlanta

The Goth scene in Atlanta, Georgia, is somewhat nomadic. In the past, there were nights at clubs like The Jungle that were sanctioned for Goths only. These days there is no designated night at any one club in Atlanta for those into the Goth or Industrial scene. So your best bet is to follow the websites or social networking pages of like-minded Goths. These sites will tell you of all the upcoming events and shows in the greater Atlanta area.
  1. Secret Room

    • Secret Room promotes Goth, Industrial and Fetish events around the city at clubs like The Jungle, The Spot and the Mark. They used to host the regular Goth night, DV8, at The Jungle. The site hosts a listing of all the events that Secret Room is promoting and any covers or discounts associated with the event. The website also has links to other clubs, DJs, photographers, artists and stores that are involved in the Goth and Fetish scenes. Finally, in case you find yourself looking for a club in a strange city, they also list other clubs outside of Atlanta.

    Das Bunker ATL

    • Run by Andy Laplegua, vocalist for bands such as Icon of Coil and Combichrist, Das Bunker ATL hosts live Industrial and Goth shows at different venues throughout the city. According to its presence on vampirefreaks.com, Das Bunker ATL aims to hold events on the second Saturday of each month, though there are some months during which events do not happen. Generally, the cover is $10, and they only accept fans who are over 18, though vampirefreaks.com says they have made exceptions in the past.

    Dead Atlanta

    • Dead Atlanta is a LiveJournal community that focuses on upcoming shows and dance nights in the Goth scene. Members can post any events they see as pertinent to the community, which means that both large and small events tend to be listed. In addition to listings for music and dance nights like Night Vision at The Spot, Dead Atlanta also posts information regarding authors or movies that are coming to the area and are Goth related.
