How to Patch a Power Mixer to a Powered Mixer
Power mixers connect different types of audio components for blending their sounds into a single output for playback. The mixer contains a built-in amplifier to boost the output signal. By connecting one powered mixer to another, you can layer different audio sources into one output for playback on a connected loudspeaker system or recording to a digital or analog deck. Use a standard set of RCA-type audio cables with 1/4-inch plugs to connect one mixer to another.
