How to Build a Flex Microphone Stand
In live sound applications, you may need a microphone stand that has a flexible neck. This type of stand is also referred to as a goose-neck stand. Goose-neck stands allow you to quickly adjust the placement of the microphone on the instrument or vocal that you are amplifying. With a traditional mic stand you must first unlock the stand's arms in order to change the microphone's orientation.
