How do you download music for a PSP?

Using a USB Cable:

1. Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cable provided with your PSP.

2. On your computer, open a file explorer (e.g., Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder).

3. Navigate to the location where your music files are stored on your computer.

4. Drag and drop the desired music files from your computer to the "MUSIC" folder located within your PSP's file structure.

Using Media Go:

1. Install Media Go on your computer. Media Go is a software developed by Sony specifically for managing media on PSPs. You can download Media Go from the Sony Support website.

2. Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cable.

3. Launch Media Go on your computer. It should automatically detect your connected PSP.

4. In Media Go, select the "Music" tab.

5. Click the "Add" button to browse and select the music files you want to transfer from your computer. You can also drag and drop music files from your computer to the Media Go window.

6. Once you have added the desired music files, click the "OK" button to start transferring the music to your PSP.

Using Custom Firmware (CFW) and Memory Stick:

1. If your PSP has a custom firmware installed (check your PSP's system information to see if CFW is present), you can transfer music directly to the Memory Stick. Connect your PSP's Memory Stick to your computer using a card reader or insert the Memory Stick directly into your computer if it has an available memory card slot.

2. Navigate to the "MUSIC" folder on the Memory Stick. Create the folder if it doesn't exist.

3. Copy and paste the desired music files into the "MUSIC" folder.

Eject the Memory Stick and insert it back into your PSP to access the added music.
