Open iTunes and click on the "plus" symbol on the far bottom-left corner. The "plus" symbol stands for "Create a New Playlist." Once you click on the symbol, a new playlist titled "Untitled Playlist" will appear at the bottom of the "Playlists" section on the left side. Right click on "Untitled Playlist" to rename the playlist something you'll remember later on. Double click on the new name of the playlist to enter the "Playlist" window. It should be blank.
Switch back to the library that contains all your music by clicking on "Music" in the top left corner. You may add music to your new playlist in one of two ways. Either right click on the track, go down to "Add to Playlist --> Playlist Name" or simply click and drag the track to the playlist on the left hand side. Double click on the playlist again and the track will show up.
Most blank CDs allow about 1 hour and 20 minutes total of play time per CD. Depending on the length of the tracks, most blank CDs will hold 15 to 20 songs. Once the playlist is filled with music, click "Burn Disc" on the lower right-hand corner of iTunes. Allow the library 5 to 10 minutes to complete the burn. If you haven't inserted the blank CD yet, you'll do that before you click, "Burn Disc."
