Create a new folder on your desktop by clicking "File" and selecting "New Folder." Then name the folder "Batch Convert WAV."
Drag and drop the WAV files that you would like to convert to MP3 into this folder.
Download Switch (see Resources). After it is downloaded and installed, open Switch.
Select "Add Folder."
Browse to select the "Batch Convert WAV" folder that you created on your desktop. Then click "OK."
Select MP3 as the output format.
Choose where you would like the save the converted WAV files on your computer by clicking "Browse," next to the "Output Folder" location.
Click "Convert." When Switch has finished converting the entire folder of WAV files to MP3, you will have successfully batch converted WAV to MP3.

Download dBpoweramp (see Resources). After it is downloaded and installed, open dBpoweramp.
Click "Browse" and select the "Batch Convert WAV" folder that you created on your desktop. Then click "Open."
Select MP3 as the output format from the "Converting To" menu.
Choose where you would like to save the converted MP3 files on your computer by clicking the "Output Location Folder" button.
Click "Convert." When dBpoweramp has finished converting the entire folder of WAV files to MP3, you will have successfully batch converted WAV to MP3.
Download iTunes (see Resources). After it is downloaded and installed, open iTunes.
Drag and drop the WAV files that you would like to convert to MP3 into the iTunes library. This will automatically import the WAV files into iTunes.
Click "iTunes," "Preferences" on a Mac or click "Edit," "Preferences" on a PC. Then open "Import Settings" to select your preferred audio conversion format.
Choose the "MP3 Encoder" from the "Import Using" menu and then exit iTunes preferences.
Highlight the WAV files that you imported into your iTunes library. To do this, press and hold the "Cmd" button while clicking the WAV files on a Mac, or press and hold the "Ctrl" button while clicking the WAV files on a PC.
Click "Advanced" and select "Create MP3 Version." This will cause an MP3 file to be created for each highlighted WAV file. When iTunes has finished converting the files, an MP3 version will appear below each WAV version in your iTunes library. You have now successfully batch converted WAV to MP3.
