How to Record onto an Akai MPC2000XL Using a Yamaha Motif 6

The Yamaha Motif 6 is a diverse keyboard that also serves as a MIDI controller for digital music production. The MPC 2000XL is a MIDI sequencing tool that allows you to play and arrange digital music from a wide array of sources. While you may load sounds onto the MPC 2000XL from external sources such as diskettes and computer hard drives, you may need sounds and sequences from your Yamaha Motif 6. You can connect the keyboard to your MPC 2000XL and record its output into the sequencer to add to a composition.
