How to Make CD Case Covers for Music CDs for Free

In the 1980s, mix tapes were the standard way of creating a compilation of songs. Today, we use CDs. The process is fairly similar, except with the technology available today, we can create unique artwork to go along with our custom array of tracks. Creating a CD case cover may seem complicated or expensive, but it's actually quite easy. There are templates available which you can use to create a foundation for a CD cover case. You can customize features to get the exact case that you want.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit office.microsoft.com and click the templates tab.

    • 2

Browse through the list of templates until you find one that suits your needs. Some have covers and artwork on them, while others have areas of blank spaces where you can insert the artwork yourself.

Click the image of the template once you've found what you're looking for. Click the "download" button on the following page. Save the template wherever you like, but it will pop up in Microsoft Word automatically.
