How to Mix Biaural Beats With Music

Biaural, as defined by Webster is "Being binaural" which means being heard through two ears. Binaural beats are created when two tones that are below 1000 hertz (Hz) and are less than 30 Hz apart are heard in opposite ears. In order to perceive binaural beats the tones must be heard through headphones so that the separate tones are heard in opposite ears. The "beat" of a binaural beat occurs because the two tones are slightly different in frequency so the overlapping sounds create a rapid beating effect. By themselves, binaural beats are somewhat plain (just a set of simple tones), but when mixed with music the binaural beats blend in. Guided meditation often uses binaural beats to provide calming effects and adjustments to the brain waves of the listeners.

Adjust the volume of your binaural track down with the volume slider next to it. Press "Play" to listen to the compiled music and binaural beats. Tweak the volume level until the binaural beats are just below the level that you notice them consciously. When the volume level of the binaural beats is just below the level of conscious perception it does not interfere with the music.
