How to Arrange MP3 Music

As CDs, cassettes and records have become less popular, music is often stored digitally. This is more efficient as it doesn't take up physical space and all music can be accessed instantly. In order to make the most of this system, it's best to keep your music organized by adding artist and album information.

Instructions

    • 1

On a Windows computer, click "Start", select "All Programs" and open "iTunes."

Click "File" and select either "Add File to Library" or "Add Folder to Library." Browse for music tracks or folders containing music, select what you wish to add, and click "Open."

Browse through the library to view the newly added content. Right click a track you would like to edit, select "Get Info," select the "Info" tab and fill in the boxes. Once complete, click "Ok" to save.

Hold down the CTRL key while you click several tracks to select more than one. Alternatively, click to highlight one track then hold down the shift key as you select another further down the list -- this will highlight all of the tracks between the two selected.
