How to Make MP3s With the Best Sound Quality

Creating MP3s with the best sound quality preserves as much of the original sound quality of the music as possible while still creating a compressed version of the file. This option is preferred among those who wish to reduce the file size of their music but still want to maintain the fidelity of it. To create high quality MP3s, you can use a variety of free audio programs. ITunes, Switch and dBpoweramp are among the many free audio programs available.

Instructions

  1. Using iTunes

      Download iTunes from itunes.com and install it. Then open iTunes.

      Click "File," then "Preferences" to open the "Preferences" menu.

    Using Switch

      Download Switch from nch.com.au and install the program. Open Switch.

      Download the dBpoweramp program from dbpoweramp.com and install it. Open dBpoweramp.
