Why is the band named devil wears Prada?

The band's name has no relation to the novel "The Devil Wears Prada". It was taken from the character Andrea Sachs from the novel's film adaptation. In an interview, the band members said that they originally didn't want the band's name to be "The Devil Wears Prada" but when the band's lawyer submitted paperwork to name the band, they were on the phone with Prada, the fashion company from the film. The receptionist had answered the phone saying "This is the Devil Wears Prada" prompting them to adopt the name due to the coincidental timing.
